St. Luke's introduces its latest creation, From Stethoscopes to Spatulas, a cookbook featuring recipes from Physicians on staff at St. Luke's Hospital. Harriet Leff, who has been volunteering for St. Luke's Hospital for nearly three years and also has been a part of the Auxiliary board for two years, led the project. Last year Leff suggested having a cookbook with recipes from physicians on staff at
St. Luke's Hospital. After only a few months physicians sent in nearly 300 recipes to Leff.
From Stethoscopes to Spatulas is a great cookbook for anybody to own, said Leff. It also includes 16 pages of helpful cooking hints.
This cookbook makes an excellent gift for many occasions. The cost is $10 and all proceeds go to St. Luke's Auxiliary. The Auxiliary in turn, makes an annual pledge to St. Luke's Hospital. The cookbook is available for purchase in St. Luke's Hospital's gift shop or you may request one online.
