Young Professionals of St. Luke's Hospital
The Young Professionals of St. Luke's Hospital is a group of leaders from diverse career backgrounds. The Young Professionals lead events to raise awareness and support for the hospital's health and wellness outreach programs. These programs impact more than 40,000 people in the St. Louis region. The Young Professionals have raised over $62,000 to benefit our Pediatric Care Center and Albert Pujols Wellness Center for Adults with Down Syndrome.
Areas of Focus
- Hospital Involvement: YP board members highlight areas of the hospital, educate the group about services, classes, and programs that St. Luke's Hospital offers in the community.
- Events: YP board members host social and fundraising events each year such as the Holiday Celebration, that support St. Luke's programs and services for patients and their families.
- Communications: YP board members are advocates for St. Luke's Hospital.
- Professional Development: YP board members grow professionally through the connections they develop in the group.

St. Luke's Young Professionals Holiday Celebration
The 5th Annual Young Professionals Holiday Celebration was held on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at Anheuser-Busch Biergarten The evening included food, beverages, music, raffle baskets, silent auction and more. Nearly $23,000 of net proceeds were raised to benefit St. Luke's Hospital's Albert Pujols Wellness Center for Adults with Down Syndrome. The center helps fill a growing need for wellness services for adults with Down syndrome, including programs focused on nutrition, exercise, independent living skills, safety and social/emotional well-being. Past event proceeds have provided the center with outfitted specialized exercise equipment, musical instruments and expanded life skills classes.
