Unit Description:
- 18 patient beds
- We serve a variety of Medical/Surgical patients who are experiencing cardiac, respiratory, surgical or obstetric emergencies, and surgical patients who require intensive monitoring during their immediate post operative phase.

Educational Opportunities:
One 8-hour seminar day and $100 to use toward one seminar per year. In addition, St. Luke's offers many educational opportunities on campus. We offer a comprehensive internship program for new graduates that combines classroom and bedside training.

What makes us special?
We offer daily, multidisciplinary collaboration on patient needs through our intensive care team. This team consists of 24-hour coverage with critical care intensivists, RNs, respiratory therapists, unit secretaries and patient care technicians. We staff the Cardiac Arrest and Rapid Response Teams, which respond to medical emergencies throughout the patient care areas. Staffing decisions are made based on acuity of patients.
