Unit Description:
- 5 procedure rooms
- 1 flouro room
- We perform colonoscopies, gastroscopies, ERCP, ultrasound, capsule endoscopy & pH and motility testing
Unit Managers:
Susan Grisham, Head Nurse
Judy Smith, Unit Specific Educator
Educational Opportunities:
We have monthly meetings, regularly scheduled in-services in the department and outside seminars throughout the year.
Staffing Schedules:
- Full-time
- Part-time
- PRN
- 4-, 8- and 12-hour shifts
- Days and evenings
- Weekend on call requirement
Staff Mix:
- RN
- Patient Care Technician II
- Unit Secretaries
RN Employment Requirement:
We prefer prior endoscopy experience but may train if the candidate has three years of medical/surgical experience. Must be ACLS certified.
