Unit Description:
- 12 patient beds
- Clarkson Urgent Care Center is a walk-in medical center, serving the community. The urgent care center operates 365 days per year and averages between 70 and 90 patients per day, which translates into roughly 25,550 annual patient visits. As a typical Urgent Care setting, Clarkson Urgent Care is primarily designed to care for patients suffering from viral syndromes, lacerations, minor fractures and other non-life-threatening urgencies.

Educational Opportunities:
Clarkson Urgent Care Center hosts monthly staff meetings and we have on-the-job training for all of our positions. The Urgent Cares share an education coordinator for the majority of job-specific competencies.
Staffing Schedules:
- Full-time
- Part-time
- PRN
- 12-hour shifts
- Days and nights
- Weekend requirement every third shift
- Self-scheduling available

- Unit Secretaries
RN Employment Requirement:
Although not mandatory, Clarkson Urgent Care prefers RNs with at least one year of Emergency Room experience or equivalent clinical experience. ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications are required.
