FACES: Friendly

These words describe the culture of customer service we want to nurture at St. Luke's Hospital. Consider the following "friendly" tips:

What does being "friendly" mean to our guests?
It is all the little things we do that mean so much - from smiling to others as we greet them in the hallway or when we enter a patient's room, to helping a lost visitor, to using three very important words - please and thank you. At St. Luke's, it is "the way we do the things we do!"

Friendly Reputation - It Goes a Long Way
During monthly orientations many times there are employees who have returned to St. Luke's to work after working somewhere else or moving back to St. Louis. Why? St. Luke's employees seem to have a history of being the friendliest in town. Look around you - see what others see.

Continue the Holiday Spirit Throughout the Year!
Everyone seems to be in a festive mood this time of year and smiling faces can be seen across the campus. Sometimes we get distracted by all the work we have to do, and forget how much a friendly face and smile mean to our patients, family members, visitors and our co-workers. Without a single word spoken, a smile says "I have time for you." This is such a small thing that can make a big difference in other people's lives. Keep the spirit of "friendliness" alive every day throughout the year.
