The Special Delivery Suites at St. Luke's Hospital focus care around the mother, father and baby, as well as involving siblings and grandparents during this happy time. In order to provide maximum family time, the Special Delivery Suites offer open visiting hours. The new mother determines the visiting hours for friends and family members. Children are welcome to visit, but must be accompanied at all times by an adult.
The father, grandparents, siblings and friends may hold the new baby after performing a thorough hand washing. All visitors should be free of colds or infections.
For the well being of both mother and baby, St. Luke's is a smoke-free environment and visitors may not smoke in the hospital.
