Healthy Heart Screenings

Why should you have your cholesterol and blood glucose checked? High blood cholesterol is one of the major risk factors for heart disease that can be
controlled.

Knowing your cholesterol level is an important first step in determining your risk for heart disease. The American Heart Association recommends all adults 20 years and older have a fasting lipid profile once every five years.

Since high blood cholesterol is one of the major controllable risk factors for heart disease, the American Heart Association recommends knowing your cholesterol
level.

Fasting lipid profile (triglycerides, HDL, LDL and total cholesterol), glucose and blood pressure screenings are offered monthly by appointment.

Call 314-542-4848 to schedule an appointment for your complete fasting lipid profile and blood pressure screening.
