St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield has once again received a national award of excellence for its website, www.stlukes-stl.com from the World Wide Web Health Awards Program.
St. Luke's website offers many features for patients, such as:

- Pre-register for delivery at St. Luke's
- Register for classes and programs
- Register to receive free weekly email during pregnancy
St. Luke's website received Bronze (third place) honors for Patient Education Information for a Hospital/Healthcare system Web site. The World Wide Web Health Awards recognizes the best health-related websites for consumers and professionals. The HIRC, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials, organizes the World Wide Web Health Awards. The Web-based health awards are an extension of the HIRC's 10-year old National Health Information Awards (NHIA), the largest program of its kind in the United States.
St. Luke's Web site also features an area just for physicians, patient care quality reports, online requests for physician appointments and online health e-updates. The goal of the Web site is to offer easier navigation and increased patient education information to promote St. Luke's as the region's leader in health information.
