St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield has once again received a national award of excellence for its website, www.stlukes-stl.com from the World Wide Web Health Awards Program.
St. Luke's website received Silver (second place) honors for Patient Education Information for a Hospital/Healthcare system website. The World Wide Web Health Awards recognizes the best health-related websites for consumers and professionals. The HIRC, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials, organizes the World Wide Web Health Awards. The Web-based health awards are an extension of the HIRC's 10-year old National Health Information Awards (NHIA), the largest program of its kind in the United States.
St. Luke's website was recently re-launched to meet the increasing demands for available health information.
