JoAnn Hejna and Barbara Veron, trustees of the Saigh Foundation, were presented a plaque in recognition of a $100,000 gift to St. Luke's Pediatric Care Center. The Saigh Foundation was started by Fred Saigh and strives to enhance the quality of life in the St. Louis metropolitan region through support for charitable projects and initiatives, which primarily benefit children and youth through education and health care.
"St. Luke's Pediatric Care Center is seeing more and more children and the gift comes at a much needed time," said Mary Ann Gaston, Pediatric Care Manager at the Center. "I am so impressed with the generosity of the Saigh Foundation."
Located at 8007 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Luke's Pediatric Care Center is a mission-based agency of St. Luke's Hospital that provides health care to children in St. Louis City and County in a private practice setting. The center offers care for children from birth to 18 years.
