St. Luke's Urgent Care & Medical Building in Creve Coeur Now Open

Koman Group is Developer of $1.5 Million Healthcare Project

ST. LOUIS, MO, October 18, 2010 - St. Luke's Hospital has opened a new Urgent Care/Medical Office Center near the intersection of Olive Boulevard and Old Ballas Road bordering the CityPlace campus. Koman Group, the developer and asset manager of CityPlace, oversaw the $1.5 million development project for St. Luke's.

"We are delighted to have helped St. Luke's advance its ongoing expansion program in metro St. Louis," said Dan O'Connor, Koman vice president of development. "Additionally, for those who work or live at CityPlace, walk-in medical diagnosis and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries is now wonderfully convenient."

St. Luke's Urgent Care in Creve Coeur is located in a new 15,000-square-foot one-story building that also hosts office space for primary care physicians as well as X-ray and lab services.

St. Luke's has provided urgent care services to the community for more than 25 years. Its five other centers are located on Clarkson Road and in Fenton, Kirkwood, Weldon Spring and WingHaven.

Selected by Koman Group to serve on the construction team were: Clayco, general contractor; The Lawrence Group, architect; and Cole & Associates, civil engineer.

Founded in 1984, St. Louis-based Koman Group has developed more than $1 billion in new projects in Missouri and Illinois. Heading its portfolio is CityPlace, a mixed-use development comprised of 11 buildings totaling more than 1.2 million square feet of space. All told, Koman Group currently manages more than two million square feet of commercial space.
