Urgent Care Center Physician
St. Luke's Urgent Care Centers are a quality, convenient option when someone needs prompt, minor emergency treatment. St. Luke's Hospital-owned centers have been providing a high level of medical care in a walk-in setting to local families for more than 30 years. Centers are open every day of the year.
St. Luke's Hospital is looking for a full-time physician with a background in family medicine, emergency department care or internal medicine/pediatrics to staff one of our six Urgent Care Centers. This is a full-time position, with 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. shifts.
Benefits include hourly pay, time-and-a-half pay for holidays, paid vacation, CME compensation, and no night shifts or call.
Our Centers typically see minor emergencies such as sprains, fractures, eye injuries, cuts, rashes, burns, colds, flu symptoms and insect and animal bites. In addition, we also offer sports, school and work physicals, pre-hospitalization and outpatient testing and free blood pressure checks. We have a digital X-ray on-site, but the hospital is on call to get official reads as necessary. Lab services are also on-site. Occupational health experience is a plus.
