St. Luke's Hospital offers an anticoagulation clinic to provide safe and effective management of warfarin (Coumadin®) therapy on an outpatient basis.
The clinic is conveniently located in Suite 400 at the Desloge Outpatient Center directly across from the hospital on the west side of Highway 141.
Our services include:
Monitoring of your INR with results available within minutes (INR is a measure of how long it takes your blood to clot.)
Medication dosage adjustment based on your INR results
Screening of drug and food interactions
Patient education
Face-to-face consultations
The clinic has been open for over two years and is under the medical direction of Anthony Pearson, MD. Patients are seen based on physician referral. It is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is staffed by pharmacists who are trained and certified in anticoagulation therapy management.
