Memory Disorders and Dementia Care

You may know a loved one affected by memory loss - a mother, a father, a sibling, a friend. Because memory loss and dementia affect us all and are some of the most common neurodegenerative conditions, our multidisciplinary staff at the Brain & Spine Center support both you and your family to help delay the onset of debilitating conditions that could lessen ones' independence. Our goal: to improve the quality of life for everyone affected.

Our board certified neurologists and nurse practitioners have extensive experience providing comprehensive care for memory disorders. These disorders include:

  • Alzheimer's disease
  • Frontotemporal dementia (FTD)
  • Lewy body disease (LBD)
  • Mild cognitive impairment
  • Cognitive problems related to other diseases, such as stroke and Parkinson's disease

We also screen people who are simply concerned about their memory.

We strive to provide compassionate care and easy access to our healthcare providers. We take the time to get to know our patients and to understand their concerns as comprehensively as possible. We have many diagnostic tools at our disposal, including:

  • Specialized MRI
  • CT and PET scans
  • Electroencephalography
  • Blood and spinal fluid analysis
  • Genetic testing

We understand the impact neurologic disease has on the entire family and strive to serve as a gateway to resources within the broader community, including the Alzheimer's Association, Memory Care Home Solutions, and others.
