There are many helpful sites to assist you in learning more about cleft lip and palate. Here are a few:

The Cleft Palate Foundation (CPF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to optimizing the quality of life for individuals affected by facial birth defects. It was founded by the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial. For information on the Cleft Palate Foundation, visit www.cleftline.org

The Smile Train provides free surgery to children whose families would never be able to afford it, many living in developing countries with household incomes of as little as $1 a day and no applicable health insurance or government programs. For more information, visit www.smiletrain.org
