Cancer Program Statistical Overview
St. Luke's provided care to 1,224 oncology patients in 2004, the most recent annual data available. The most common sites remain prostate, breast, lung and colon. A comparison of St. Luke's oncology data to state and national statistics shows a larger than expected number of prostate and breast cases. St. Luke's multidisciplinary approach continues to attract patients from the greater St. Louis metropolitan area.
