Upon completion of treatment, the medical oncologist will continue to monitor the patient at regular intervals. If the patient has a radiation and/or surgical oncologist, the patient may be advised to rotate follow-up visits among all physicians. Routine laboratory monitoring or other testing may be required at regular intervals as well.
