Physical Therapy
St. Luke's Physical Therapy services are designed to improve or restore physical function following disease or injury. After a thorough evaluation, physical therapists design and implement an individualized program to reduce pain, improve balance, strengthen muscles, restore range of motion, improve circulation and train or retrain an individual to perform the activities of daily living. Therapeutic intervention may include:
- Exercise
- Manual therapy
- Heat or cold therapy
- Electrical stimulation
- Ultrasound
- Hydrotherapy (aquatics)
- Gait training
- Transfer training
- Spinal Traction
