Occupational Therapy

St. Luke's Occupational Therapy offers skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of life despite injury or illness. Our staff works with people of all ages with physical, developmental, social or emotional problems who are looking to lead productive and satisfying lives. Occupational Therapy is performed by certified therapists who treat a variety of patient conditions including:
  • Orthopedic injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder
  • Neurological injuries/disorders such as cerebrovascular disease, multiple sclerosis and brain injuries
  • Postsurgical upper extremity injuries
  • Deconditioning and/or acute weakness
  • Arthritis
  • Lymphedema
  • Tendonitis and nerve compression of the upper extremities
  • Upper extremity joint replacements
Occupational therapists also offer:
  • Static and dynamic splinting of the upper extremities
  • Adaptive equipment fitting and training
