Patient Instructions

• Nothing to eat or drink after midnight



• Take all of your medications except diabetic pills or insulin (you won't be eating the morning of your procedure)



• You will need someone to drive you to and from the facility in the event we give you sedation



• Generally, you will be here for 1 to 1.5 hours



• All procedures except catheter removals may involve the use of contrast (IV dye) and X-ray



• If you have allergies to contrast, contact us or your physician for medication to take prior to the visit (this will help prevent allergic reactions)
