We will call the day prior of the procedure with instructions. If you miss our call, please remember the following:
- Nothing to eat or drink after midnight
- Take all of your medications except diabetic pills or insulin (you won't be eating the morning of your procedure)
- You will need someone to drive you to and from the facility in the event we give you sedation
- Generally, you will be here for 1 to 1.5 hours
- All procedures except catheter removals may involve the use of contrast (IV dye) and X-ray
- If you have allergies to contrast, contact us or your physician for medication to take prior to the visit (this will help prevent allergic reactions)
