Do I need to make an appointment?
Screening and diagnostic mammograms are available in the Women's Center, Suite 200 East, on a "walk-in" basis Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are also available 8 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. Call 314-205-6267 to make an appointment or request an appointment online.
Screening mammograms on the mobile unit are by appointment. For an appointment or more information call 314-205-6565 or toll free 1-888-357-3432. Walk-ins are welcome, if space is available. The mobile unit is recommended for:
- Women age 40 and over
- Women who have no signs or symptoms of breast cancer
The mobile unit is not recommended if you have: any signs of breast cancer, breast implants, or a new lump in your breast.
Billing
St. Luke's can bill Medicare and most insurance companies for you. Please bring your Medicare and/or insurance card with you. Annual screening mammography is a covered benefit under most insurance plans. For exact coverage, please check with your insurance company, as there may be a co-pay or deductible for this service. St. Luke's Hospital and Diagnostic Imaging, the radiologists' billing office, will bill you after payment is received from your insurance.
