St. Luke's Hospital's Health & Harmony magazine has won the Silver Award (second place) in the 10th Annual National Health Information Awards. St. Luke's Hospital beat out every other hospital in the United States for the award. Health & Harmony magazine, which is written and designed by the marketing staff at St. Luke's Hospital, won in the "Patient Education Information - Magazine" category.
Health & Harmony magazine is a quarterly publication mailed out free of charge to nearly 30,000 residents in St. Louis and St. Charles County. It is also available at St. Luke's Hospital and its Urgent Care Centers around the St. Louis area and on the website, www.stlukes-stl.com.
The award program is coordinated by the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials. The Center, which houses a large collection of such public and private sector materials, promotes the distribution of accurate, timely consumer health information materials to professionals and managers in the field.
