Commitment to Education

The employees of St. Luke's Hospital are committed to making healthcare a positive experience for the patients, families and our coworkers. The Education and Communication subteam of the CRT has worked extensively on the production of a training video for employees entitled, "FACES." FACES is an acronym used to describe the exceptional efforts of the St. Luke's Hospital staff in customer relations. The main purpose of the video is to reinforce and spotlight these efforts.

FACES is our acronym for:
F - Friendly
A - Accessible
C - Caring and Competent
E - Efficient
S - Special service

Monthly customer relation orientation sessions are offered for all new staff.

This subteam provides ongoing departmental training updates based on managers' requests on a variety of topics including telephone etiquette, conflict resolution, communication and relationships among employees.

The Education and Communication subteam offers an "Afternoon with Santa" annually. This program is for the children and grandchildren of St. Luke's Hospital employees.
