St. Luke's WODC offers personalized, outpatient care for the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions. Local anesthesia and intravenous conscious sedation, rather than general anesthesia, allow patients to remain awake and watch their procedure on a video monitor if they choose. In addition to providing personal care to the patients, the staff of specially trained registered nurses also assist physicians with the procedures. The WODC is located on the first floor of St. Luke's East Medical Building.
