Recommendations for a Healthy Lifestyle
St. Luke's works to empower the community to make well-informed healthcare decisions. In keeping with this tradition of excellent care, St. Luke's physicians recommend the following general guidelines for preventive healthcare. Remember, it is important to consult with your primary care physician to determine the specific guidelines for your health.

Preventive Guidelines for Women
Physical Examination: Every three years from 20 to 39, every two years from 40 to 49 and every year after 50
Blood Pressure: Every year
Cholesterol Test: Begin at age 18 and continue every five years, or as recommended by your healthcare professional
Electrocardiogram: Every three to five years after 50 or after 30 if at high risk for heart attacks
