St. Luke's Celebrates First Leap Year Baby

The odds of being born on Leap Day are estimated to be one in 1,461. Baby Miller was ready to "hop" into the world on the special day, arriving 10 days early. 

"It's definitely exciting," said mom Elizabeth. "Unexpected and exciting." 

Miller's February 29 birthday also has a special meaning as 29 is dad Kyle’s favorite number. The family will celebrate Miller's future birthdays on February 28.

Leap year babies in St. Luke’s Birth Care Suites were dressed in frog buntings to celebrate the special occasion.
