Healthgrades Names St. Luke’s Hospital And St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital 2022 Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ Recipients

ST. LUKE’S HOSPITAL IN THE TOP 5% OF HOSPITALS IN THE U.S. FOR OUTSTANDING PATIENT EXPERIENCE, ACCORDING TO HEALTHGRADES

 

 

Chesterfield, Mo., June 21, 2022 – St. Luke’s Hospital announced today that it has achieved the Healthgrades 2022 Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ and is the only hospital in Missouri to achieve the Outstanding Patient Experience Award for 12 years in a row (2011-2022). St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital is also a 2022 Outstanding Patient Experience Award recipient.

 

This distinction places both hospitals among the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient experience, according to Healthgrades, the leading marketplace that connects people with the right doctor and hospital.

 

For this annual analysis, Healthgrades evaluated 3,173 hospitals that submitted at least 75 patient experience surveys to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), covering admissions from July 2020 to March 2021. Of those hospitals evaluated, 399 hospitals outperformed their peers—based on their patients’ responses—to achieve this award.
