Vice President - Surgical and Ambulatory Services, St. Luke's Hospital
With more than 30 years of experience implementing and directing patient and clinical care operations, Jon Bettale, RN, BSN, MBA, serves as vice president of St. Luke's surgical and ambulatory services. In his role, he oversees Surgical Services, the Endoscopy Lab, Workplace Health, the Urgent Care Centers, Convenient Care location, the Pediatric Care Center and the Vascular Access Center.
Prior to his return to St. Luke's in 2015, he was the director of patient care for the surgical services and psychiatry departments at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Most recently, he served as an activation lead/project manager of the Washington University Medical Center campus renewal project for BJC HealthCare.
He previously worked for St. Luke's for 15 years starting in 1991. During that time, he served as the director of cardiac services and as a director of nursing. He describes it as one of the best times in his career.
Jon earned his bachelor's degree in nursing from Saint Louis University and an MBA from Lindenwood University.
