Executive Team

Sharon Mertzlufft joined the executive team of St. Luke’s Hospital in 2015, and is responsible for leading our healthcare ministry’s community outreach, philanthropic initiatives, volunteer services and spiritual care programs.

Sharon has extensive experience in building and expanding successful community affairs programs for health and human service, cultural and community development organizations. Previously, Sharon served as the director of development for the CityArchRiver 2015 Foundation, leading the philanthropy program for the St. Louis Gateway Arch grounds renovation and restoration project. Prior to that, she held senior leadership positions in fund development and business operations with the Missouri Botanical Garden and the United Way of Greater St. Louis.

Sharon earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an MBA from Webster University.
