Hasan Ali H. Ahmed, MD
Hasan Ali H. Ahmed, MD, graduated from Dow Medical College Karachi in 1985.
In July 2001, Dr. Ahmed relocated to the United States from Karachi, Pakistan, with more than 15 years of experience in otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery (ENT). During this time he worked as a house surgeon, postgraduate fellow, registrar, senior medical officer and ENT specialist. In July 1997, Dr. Ahmed was the only surgeon from Pakistan to be selected for a scholarship training program by the International Center for Otologic Training in Savannah, Ga.
Dr. Ahmed was a member of the editorial board of the Pakistan Journal of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a member of the Head and Neck Society of Pakistan.
He completed his internal medicine internship in 2005 and residency in 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital. In 2008 he completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at St. Luke's Sleep Medicine and Research Center, and he is now a sleep specialist at the center.
Dr. Ahmed is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board certified in sleep medicine.
