Girl Talk Unplugged
Constantly Connected? That's life in the digital age. With preteens and teens often absorbed in their phones and social media channels, constantly texting, Snapchatting and posting to Instagram, time spent online can come at the expense of real world interactions and a healthy self - contributing to self esteem issues and stress, poor sleep and lack of physical activity. This FREE program offers girls ages 11 and older a chance to "unplug" and spend an informative, inspiring and fun afternoon with their moms (or grandmothers, aunts or other important adults). Interactive sessions and health experts will remind us to slow down, connect with others in meaningful ways and make time for the things that keep us healthy and happy through the preteen years and beyond. Activities to explore together, interactive physican panel and breakout sessions on nutritious eating, fitness and stress management. Space is limited.

Registration required.
