Whether you are planning to breastfeed, are returning home from the hospital with your new baby and have breastfeeding questions, or simply want a refresher, this easy-to-follow online program is designed to be a valuable resource. It is a great option especially if:
- you cannot attend the conventional breastfeeding class due to time constraints or bed rest
- you prefer online learning at your own pace
- you want a refresher or convenient reference once home with your new baby
The interactive web-based program guides you through animated illustrations, videos and voice-overs. It cover such topics as benefits of breastfeeding, skin-to-skin contact, anatomy and physiology, types of breast milk, dietary requirements for mother, proper positioning and latch-on, storage of breast milk, baby's daily feeding record, common breastfeeding issues and FAQs, and other resources.
After registering and paying for the Online Breastfeeding Program, we will e-mail you a code to access the class. It is valid for 90 days, starting from the day you first log on, allowing you, your partner and other support persons to access the program when it's convenient for you. The code can be used on multiple computers at any time during those 90 days.
Class Fee: $30 for 90-day access
