We know you're busy, so we offer an online, web-based childbirth class. It's a convenient option especially for:
- Moms-to-be on bed rest
- Expectant parents with time constraints or scheduling conflicts
- Parents wanting a refresher
The web-based program uses animated illustrations, videos, voice-overs and interactive activities to guide you through the basics of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and caring for you newborn. Topics include: childbirth education and labor support; discomforts of pregnancy; understanding labor and birth; labor guide; caring for yourself postpartum; feeding your newborn; and caring for your newborn.
After registering and paying for the Online Childbirth Class, we will e-mail you a code to access the class. It is valid for 90 days, starting from the day you first log on, allowing you, your partner and other support persons to access the course content when it's convenient for you. The code can be used on multiple computers at any time during those 90 days.
Class Fee: $65 for 90-day access
The Online Childbirth Class can be viewed on a PC or Mac. High-speed Internet is advised. Dial-up will work; it will just take longer to download. (See more on System Requirements.
