ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL HIRES NEW CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER


Chesterfield, Mo., March 13, 2023 - St. Luke's Hospital has hired Scott B. Johnson as the healthcare network's new chief strategy officer (CSO). Joining St. Luke's executive leadership team, Mr. Johnson will be responsible for driving business opportunities to assure the health system's continued growth.

Mr. Johnson brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare field to the St. Luke's CSO role, most recently serving as group vice president, strategy and business development for CHRISTUS Health, a nonprofit, faith-based health system headquartered in Irving, Texas. While at CHRISTUS, he led strategy development and had operational responsibilities for the health system's markets in Louisiana and Southeast Texas.

Prior to CHRISTUS Health, Mr. Johnson held leadership positions in strategy and business development, marketing, and public relations with health systems in Tennessee and Kentucky. He earned his master's degree in organizational communications from Murray State University in Kentucky, and his bachelor's degree in public relations from East Tennessee State University.

Mr. Johnson will begin work in his new role with St. Luke's on March 13.
