This advancement in medical care provides surgeons with the ability to treat patients with complex medical conditions using new technology that combines minimally invasive techniques with traditional surgical procedures, all in the same room. This provides much lower risk to patients, resulting in faster recoveries and leading to more efficient medical care.

If you have any questions prior to your surgery, please feel free to reach out. Specific post-operative written instructions regarding pain medications, fluid/food intake and activity will be given to you at the time of discharge. If questions or problems arise after you leave the hospital, please contact your surgeon. After business hours, please contact your surgeon through the exchange. You may also call the Outpatient Recovery Department at 314-205-6994. Outpatient Recovery is open from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday. In the event of an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Admissions and Parking:
On the day of your surgery, report to the Surgery Check-in and Waiting Area on the 3rd floor of the hospital, across from the Gift Shop. 

Free parking is available for surgical patients in the North/South Parking Garage. Enter the hospital through the main lobby. Cross the main lobby and then follow signs to the Surgery Check-in and Waiting area. 

For those guests who have difficulty walking, their driver may drop them off at the front entrance before parking the vehicle. 

After 8 a.m. (Monday - Friday), complimentary valet parking is available in front of the West Medical Office Building
