If you are passionate about helping others, consider sharing your time and talents as a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital. Our adult volunteers are a compassionate and diverse group who contribute thousands of hours each year in support of our mission to serve patients, families, and staff with care and kindness.
Schedule & Commitment
- Volunteers serve one 4-hour shift per week on a consistent schedule (same day, time, and position).
- A minimum commitment of 100 hours is required over a 6–7-month period.
- Opportunities are available Monday through Friday during business hours.
- Morning shift: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Afternoon shift: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

To learn more and apply for the Adult Volunteer Program, please complete the online application using the link below. Once your application is received, the Volunteer Office will reach out to schedule an interview to explore your interests, availability, and potential placement.
Onboarding Requirements
Before beginning service, selected applicants must complete a screening process that includes:
- Urine drug screening
- Criminal background check (Social Security number required)
- Blood tests for tuberculosis, measles, mumps, and rubella
- Review of immunization records
- Proof of current flu vaccination (or agreement to receive one)
