About

St. Luke's Radiation Oncology uses state-of-the-art equipment and software for the treatment of a variety of cancers including cancers of the prostate, lung, head and neck, gastrointestinal tract, brain, extremity sarcomas and breast cancer. Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), prostate seed brachytherapy and MammoSite breast brachytherapy are just a few of the treatments available that target cancerous tissue, spare healthy surrounding tissue and shorten overall radiation time.

The Center is staffed with a team of professionals specializing in radiation oncology. Physicians and nurses direct and monitor patient care. Physicists and dosimetrists plan treatments with the physicians. Radiation therapists deliver the actual treatments. All are supported by a skilled clerical staff.
