St. Luke’s Named Missouri’s Only Hospital to Earn Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award 16 Years in a Row

Chesterfield, MO., MAY 12, 2026 - St. Luke’s Hospital has once again been recognized nationally for exceptional patient care and patient satisfaction, earning the 2026 Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award and ranking in the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for patient experience.

St. Luke’s is the only hospital in Missouri to achieve this distinction for 16 consecutive years (2011–2026), a milestone that reflects the organization’s unwavering commitment to exceptional, patient-centered care. For patients and families throughout the St. Louis region, this recognition reinforces that St. Luke’s is committed not only to clinical excellence, but also to creating a compassionate, supportive, and personalized healthcare experience at every stage of care.

The Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award is based on Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey data collected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Healthgrades evaluates hospitals on key patient experience measures including communication, responsiveness, and cleanliness.
