Chesterfield, MO., SEPTEMBER 8, 2025 - St. Luke’s Hospital has received a transformative $25 million investment to support the construction of a new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department that will redefine emergency care for patients and families across the region.
The contributions include a $15 million gift from the Crawford Taylor Foundation, $5 million from the MacCarthy Foundation, and an additional $5 million from members of the Taylor/Kindle family. Together, these generous gifts will allow St. Luke’s to deliver world-class care and enhance its ability to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community.

Planning and design for the new Emergency Department have already begun, with construction timelines and additional details to be announced in the coming months. The facility will feature leading-edge technology, expanded treatment areas, and a modernized patient experience designed to meet the demands of a growing population.
