Joseph Sokhn, MD, is board-certified in hematology, oncology and internal medicine and joins St. Luke’s Center for Cancer Care. Dr. Sokhn earned his medical degree at The Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Sciences. He completed his general surgery and urology residency at The Lebanese University, and his internal medicine training at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Dr. Sokhn completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Yale School of Medicine. As both a hematologist and medical oncologist, Dr. Sokhn treats the entire spectrum of cancer and blood diseases. He has a special interest in urologic, gastrointestinal and neurologic malignancies.

Dr. Sokhn has an integrated approach to deliver a tailored care plan focused on the individual person. He is available for both inpatient and outpatient consultation. 

Dr. Sokhn joins a large multi-disciplinary team at St. Luke’s which includes experts in pathology, radiology, radiation oncology, internal medicine, surgery, pulmonology, palliative care and genetic testing. He is actively involved in leading the clinical research program. Dr. Sokhn offers services in English, French and Arabic.
