Kari Tocco, AG-ACNP, is a St. Luke’s nursing provider who supports the care of general surgery patients. As an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, she brings over a decade of experience in critical care, surgical ICUs, and emergency medicine to guide patients through their surgical journey.

She earned her Master’s and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Louis University and is board-certified through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). Her advanced clinical training included trauma surgery, neuro/surgical ICU, and cardiology rotations at respected hospitals such as Barnes-Jewish Hospital 
and St. Luke’s.

Kari is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. She believes in clear communication, collaboration with families, and a team-based approach to ensure every patient receives safe, personalized treatment. Her calm, thoughtful presence and deep clinical knowledge make her a valued partner in surgical care.
