About
A St. Louis native, Sarah Fouke, MD, a board-certified neurosurgeon, attended Princeton University and then earned her medical degree and completed her residency in neurological surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Board-certified in neurological surgery, Dr. Fouke’s interests include working with patients closely to treat a broad spectrum of cranial and spinal neuro-surgical diseases. This includes a particular focus in the surgical and radiosurgical treatment of tumors, the treatment of degenerative spinal conditions and management of adult hydrocephalus.
She makes it a priority to help each patient through what can be an overwhelming process of deciding whether and which surgery is necessary, with individualized attention at each step of the way, while working closely with patients’ primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals in order to achieve comprehensive care during recovery. Her goal is to help patients, ultimately, achieve a higher quality of life than they had prior to surgery.
