Infusion Services

Compassionate, Outpatient Infusion Services

Your doctor may recommend chemotherapy or other infusions as part of your plan of care. Infusion therapy is a type of treatment where medications are injected directly into your veins, usually through an intravenous (IV) line. Our certified oncology nurses manage your infusion with a personal, compassionate touch at St. Luke’s Infusion Center. Our infusion nurses are warm and welcoming, helping you feel at ease while providing consistent care from the same trusted team at each visit. We provide:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Anti-nausea medications
  • IV fluids for hydration
  • Outpatient blood transfusions
  • Intravenous antibiotics
  • Scalp-cooling treatment to reduce hair loss
  • Other supportive care to assist with your chemotherapy treatments and help manage side effects

Two Locations to Serve You

We offer two comfortable and convenient infusion center locations to support your care. Each center is designed with your comfort in mind. There is ample space for family members or friends to stay with you during treatment, and our infusion chairs offer both heat and massage features. A nutrition station with drinks and snacks is also available for your convenience.

The St. Luke’s Hospital main campus Infusion Center is located on the third floor of the East Medical Building, near the Cancer Center. It features 22 chairs and is bright and welcoming, with views of our Healing Garden. Lab services are conveniently located on the same floor for pre-appointment bloodwork for patients with cancer.

Our WingHaven Infusion Center is a 9-chair center designed for the convenience of our St. Charles County patients. It is  located in Suite 132 on the main floor, just inside the building entrance. You and your loved ones can enjoy views of a peaceful wooded area.
