Support for the Human Spirit

St. Luke’s chaplains provide a compassionate presence to accompany you on your journey.  All our chaplains are ordained and go through extensive training to provide confidential, compassionate care with spiritual and cultural humility for patients, visitors, and team members.

Available 24/7/365

Chaplains are available 24/7/365. You can request a chaplain visit by calling the Spiritual Care office at 314-542-4748 or if you are in the hospital dial extension 4301.  You can also submit an online request.

Evenings, weekends, and holidays, chaplains are available for emergent spiritual care needs. Please dial 0 and ask for the operator to page the on-call chaplain.

St. Luke's Chapels also provide quiet space for prayer, meditation, and reflection.  St. Luke’s Hospital has a Chapel located on the third floor of the hospital. Surrey Place Chapel is near the entrance and the lobby on the main floor.
