Alyssa Niehaus, PA-C, is a family medicine physician assistant at St. Luke’s who provides primary care for patients across the lifespan.
She evaluates acute and chronic conditions, performs physical examinations, reviews diagnostic testing, supports medication management and patient education, and coordinates care with the health care team. Alyssa earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and her bachelor’s degree in biology from Central Methodist University. Her clinical training included family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, geriatrics, behavioral health, emergency medicine, dermatology, asthma and allergy, and general surgery.
She also completed research focused on breast cancer screening and risk reduction in women with dense breast tissue.
Her approach to care emphasizes listening carefully, communicating clearly and helping patients understand their options. Alyssa strives to build trusting relationships and deliver collaborative care tailored to each patient’s needs.
