Amanda C. Hopen, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner who supports St. Luke’s electrophysiology patients, providing specialized care for heart rhythm conditions. She focuses on patient education, procedural support, and follow-up care to help patients understand their diagnoses, devices, and treatment plans.
Amanda has a strong clinical background in electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and critical care nursing. Her experience includes assisting with device implantation, monitoring patients during cardiac procedures, and collaborating closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, coordinated care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Rockhurst University. Her clinical training includes family medicine, women’s health, heart and vascular care, and community-based primary care.
Amanda believes in a patient-centered, evidence-based approach that emphasizes education, communication, and partnership to support long-term heart health.
