About

Brian Peterson, MD, FACS, FSVS, is a board-certified vascular surgeon at St. Luke’s Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Peterson earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency and vascular surgery fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Peterson utilizes a wide variety of surgical and minimally invasive procedures to treat patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease and other arterial conditions. In addition, he treats the full spectrum of venous disorders, including varicose veins and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

Dr. Peterson believes in providing comprehensive care for patients with vascular disease, whether a patient needs vascular medical management, angiography with endovascular intervention, wound care, or open surgery.
