Frederick Walters, MD, FACS, is a board-certified urologist at St. Luke’s and a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Walters earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his urology residency at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals in New Orleans. Before joining South County Urological, he conducted clinical trials for a private research group and later served as Chief of Urology at St. Anthony’s Medical Center.
Dr. Walters has advanced training in laser prostate therapy, pelvic floor reconstruction, laparoscopic renal surgery, cryosurgery ablation, and robotic prostatectomy. His clinical interests include prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, and urinary incontinence.
He has co-authored research published in The Journal of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association, the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society, and the American Lithotripsy Society.
